Anyone see this yet? I watched it the other night, and I enjoyed it in theory, though the whole scare factor is sort of removed, because you know what's coming the whole time, due to the title of the film. Still, a worthwhile horror film is hard to come by, so I say one and a half thumbs up.

Comparing the house of the devil to the human centipede is nonsense. The house of the devil is a great film, but it's more in homage to old 80's horror and the basic premise of a teenage girl left at home alone.

The human centipede on the other hand is just insane. I'm sure the director was going for shock value and he succeeded. I haven't had a movie truly churn my stomach like that in a long while. I can honestly say I have no intentions of ever watching it again. Although, don't get me wrong, I thought it was excellent.

Nonsense. The Human Centipede is the gold standard by which all other films shall be judged on this internet message board. It is the Citizen Kane of alt-country.org

Saw House of the Devil in theaters based on a rave review in the paper. Worked really well in that setting. A long, slow build up and one intense fucking ending.

haha hey i just saw this today..it was shit but a coupke parts made it ok, plus the way it was filed it really looked like an 80s horror film
